About bvbdb.no

Beach Volleyball Database NO is an archive of Norwegian beach volleyball tournament results – tournaments, events, games, teams, and players – all in one place, easy to search and explore.

Data from profixio.com, a tournament-management platform used by (among others) NVBF (Norges Volleyballforbund) - not an official NVBF resource. Inspired by bvbinfo.com project (Danish beach volleyball). This project was created by John Wika Haakseth.

Players are identified by name rather than a stable ID, so two different people who happen to share an identically-formatted name will appear here as a single player. Records with duplicate or differently-formatted names have also been merged together automatically wherever they were confidently judged to be the same person – a player’s history may therefore combine records that originally looked distinct, and in rare cases that merge could be wrong. Every merged player’s page lists the other name(s) folded into it under “Also known as”. Some players may appear multiple times in this list if they have competed under different names that were not confidently judged to be the same person.
